A 31-year-old Port St. Lucie man was arrested on charges of selling cocaine out of 3 Olives Liquor and Lounge.
John Brown, an “established cocaine dealer” as described by police, was arrested on several cocaine charges, including possession of drug paraphernalia and intent to deliver. He was also charged as a felon in possession of weapons and driving on a suspended license. These are serious charges and the man will require a qualified Saint Lucie County Criminal Lawyer.
Police say they are glad to see a drug dealer like Brown off the street. Especially since he was selling drugs right out of a local bar. That is a huge deal.
According to police, cocaine purchases had been made from Brown over a two month period. The suspect was apprehended by police around 2 a.m. as he attempted to leave the bar location at the corner of Southwest Port St. Lucie Blvd.
After a search of Brown’s vehicle, police confiscated cocaine, as scale, baggies and a loaded gun.
A search warrant was issued for the suspect’s Port St. Lucie home. Officers found a cache of weapons and more drug paraphernalia at the Southwest Sandia Dr. residence.
Brown is being held at the Port St. Lucie Jail on a bond of $122,625.
